Men’s Golf Association (MGA)
Annual Dues $50.00
The Men’s Golf Association meets the second Tuesday of each month. Four breakfast tournaments a year are hosted by the MGA. Additional competitive tournament information for the MGA will be posted in the Golf Pro Shop. Contact Rusty McCain, MGA President, at 281-474-4646.
Women’s Golf Association (WGA)
Annual Dues $50.00
The Women’s Golf Association meets the second Tuesday of each month, except June - August. The course is reserved for ladies’ play on Tuesday morning. The WGA offers 18 and 9 hole competition. Contact Penny Woodward, WGA Chairman, at 281-485-4041.
Tuesday WGA Group
If you have an established handicap of 42 (the highest handicap on our course) or less and can play during the day, this play day is for you. This group meets every Tuesday morning for competition and play begins at 9:00 a.m. In order to beat the heat, summer play in June through August, play begins at 8:30 A.M. Weekend Ladies Golf Group
Ladies are welcome to play on weekends and we have groups ranging from 2 players to 16 players! Check in the pro shop to see what times have been reserved for the group, or contact Donna Million by phone 281 455 3622 or dmillion11@att.net for times and additional information.
Couples Golf
The Couples Golf Association offers several opportunities to play throughout the year. In order to participate, each player must have an established handicap. One Sunday during the months of March, April, May and November; a mixed couple’s play date is held. Please refer to the golf calendar for the dates. Couples Twilight play days are generally the first and third Thursdays during the months of June, July, and August, play begins at 5:45 P.M. The club also hosts a Couples Member Guest event and Couples Club Championship. You are always invited to stay for drinks and dinner after the completion of the competition to discuss your game and receive prizes.
Mixed Foursomes
In order to pay prizes, an entry fee of $10.00 per couple or $5.00 per single is charged to your account each time you play. Play days are one Sunday out of the months of March, April, May and November. You must have an established handicap to participate. Prizes are awarded after play. Many of the participants stay for drinks and dinner after play. For more information contact the Pro Shop at 281-485-4550.
Couples Twilight
In order to award prizes, an entry fee of $10.00 per couple or $5.00 per single is charged to your account each time you play in the Couples Twilight events. Play days are generally the first and third Thursdays during the months of June, July, and August. Play begins at 5:45 P.M. You must have an established handicap to participate. You are always welcome to stay for drinks and and dinner after the competition is completed. This is a fun time where participants can socialize and discuss their golf game; and, the prizes will be awarded. For more information , please contact the Pro Shop at 281-485-4550.
Couples Golf Championship
This tournament is held in September and the information is posted in the GolfCrest newsletter and in the Pro Shop. All participants must have an established handicap and must be members of the MGA and WGA as they contribute to the expense of the tournament. Junior Golf Camp
Each summer you children and/or grandchildren, ages 5 and up are invited to come learn golf fundamentals, etiquette, rules of the game and much more from the golf professionals at Golfcrest. Prizes and recognition is given to all campers. Three half-day sessions will be available. For more details contact the Golf Pro Shop at 281-485-4550.
